Some of us are all alone in quarantaine right now and others are overwhelmed by homeschooling the kids. All over the world, people are dealing with (extreme) stress, isolation, fear, grief and anxiety. All of these emotions are hard to cope with under normal circumstances, but now it reaches a different level completely. Losing our connection with others, loved ones and with ourselves. “How can I help? How can I be of service?” I wondered.
What is the opposite of FEAR?
To spread love. That’s it. That’s what I can do.
Three years back I made this beautiful self-compassion course. And while it was recorded live and had 52 participants with raving reviews. I never had the guts to put it out there. Something with approval of my mother, that I didn’t get. But that’s a long story I won’t be bothering you with now.

Why is self-compassion so incredibly important? Well apart from reducing anxiety and depression it will foster resilience. Something that is absolutely essential right now, but what I personally love the most about self-compassion is something much more profound. You see, when you have more compassion for yourself, you will automatically have more compassion towards others. And that, in my opinion is where the magic happens. This is when relationships start to shift and love starts to spread like wildfire. That just seemed like the best reason to put this course out right now. When we need it the most.
